Trade ally contractors are selected for participation in many promotions through a rigorous process and are required to verify the eligibility of your property. Each trade ally will have a set of predetermined models available for a promotion and are responsible for determining the appropriate system size for each property in alignment with participation guidelines. Equipment sizing will be based on the approximate square footage of the property’s primary living space and the home’s insulation levels. Equipment will have a heating performance seasonal factor (HSPF) meeting or greater than the current standard.

Most often, promotions allow a single indoor head unit paired with an outdoor heat pump system installed in the rental home’s primary living space.

When offered by utility companies, single-family rental properties can save up to 40% on qualified ductless heat pump systems.
